Þórsmörk

Þórsmörk Valley is sheltered on both sides by glaciers which offer great views and quite often a good weather too. It is named after Thor, the Viking God of Thunder. On the way we have to cross raging rivers, both clear water and muddy ones. There we will see the aftermath of the immense fast flowing flood, caused by the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull in 2010.
