Thingvellir has an amazing cultural heritage, as the Parliament of Iceland´s Parliement was founded there in 930 a.d.. The name “Þingvellir” translates as “Parliamentary Fields”. This place is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Your next stop is the Geothermal geyser area, there are dozens of colourful bubbling hot springs and two Geysers. The same Geyser that gave the name to all the Geysers in the world – Geyser the father of all is dormant at the moment but the other, Strokkur erupts every 5-10 minutes.
